The highly anticipated Motorola Droid X for Verizon was released today. The Droid X is the newest addition to Verizon’s Droid Android line-up, which also includes the original Motorola Droid and the Droid Incredible.
The Motorola Droid X is an Android based device coming out of the door rocking version 2.1 with a custom skin or UI and a 2.2 update scheduled for late summer. The phone features a massive 4.3″ WVGA (854 x 480) touch screen, 1Ghz processor, 3G Mobile Hotspot (turn your phone into a hotspot), 8MP camera with flash, 8GB on-board memory and a pre-installed 16GB microSD card.
The Verizon Wireless website is currently sold out stating new orders will be shipped on July 23rd.
