Apple’s latest accessory, the Magic Trackpad brings the multitouch technology from the Macbook Pro to your Mac desktop. This “magic” trackpad is 80% bigger than the touchpad on the Macbook Pro, and has all of the same features including the surface area click. The design sits flush alongside the Apple Wireless Keyboard.
The Magic Trackpad runs wirelessly via Bluetooth and is powered by two AA batteries. The new Apple Battery Charger would be a perfect combination at $29 with it’s 6 AA rechargeable batteries.
For $69 the Magic Trackpad compares favorably against higher end priced mouse devices, and it brings all the ergonomics of the Macbook Pro to your desktop. Gestures such as diagonal scroll, swype to navigate, pinch zoom, rotation and four finger tab through open programs, are all now at your fingertips for your desktop. The Magic Trackpad requires a Bluetooth-enabled Mac and the latest version of Snow Leopard.
