New XBOX 360 “Slim”

Microsoft announced today their new XBOX 360 aka the “Slim” with a sleeker design and ‘Kinect’ ready. The new XBOX 360 features include an integrated 802.11 n wi-fi, a 250GB hard drive and a glossy black case redesign.  The new model also has 2 additional USB ports for a total of 5 and a new ‘Kinect’ port. Other features include touch sensitive power and eject buttons. The hard drive is swappable, but not with previous XBOX 360 models.

The new model will cost $299 and be available later this week in the US. It will be available on July 1st in Australia, July 8th in New Zealand, and July 16th in Europe.
