This is the SNES HD emulator running on a jailbroken iPhone and iPad. SNES HD is a port by Wherethewoozlewasnt of SNes9x, based on ZodTTD’s original.
The application has a very intuitive and nicely laid out interface. The game selection shows a picture of an actual SNES with cartridge. This app pairs with both iPhone and iPad, allowing you to use your iPhone as a SNES controller for your iPad. Up to four devices can be paired simultaneously.
Using the iPhone as a controller takes a bit of getting used to. The volume buttons can be conveniently remapped to keys such as L and R. Playing Super Mario Kart on SNES HD for the first time wasn’t too difficult, no spiffy drifting, but definitely playable.
